acid/LSD - UD
Acid is a ridiculously powerful drug. It's measured in micrograms (that's 10 to the negative 6, kids). A few hundred micrograms is enough for a fairly decent trip that'll last between 8-12 hours.
Guaranteed to blow your freakin' mind. I strongly suggest listening to the Grateful Dead while under the influence. It is not advisable to drive or operate heavy machinery while tripping. Going to work or attending class while zonked out of your gourd is also discouraged; !!! the fact that your pupils will swallow your entire eye is a dead give away that you're on something.
Barbituates - WP
Barbiturates are drugs that act as central nervous system depressants, and by virtue of this they produce a wide spectrum of effects, from mild sedation to anesthesia. Some are also used as anticonvulsants.
Barbiturates are derivatives of barbituric acid.
ecreational users report that a barbiturate high makes them feel "relaxed, sociable, and good-humored", according to an independent article. Users typically describe feelings of decreased anxiety, a loss of inhibitions, and an increased sense of confidence. Physical effects include slowed breathing and a lowering of both blood pressure and heart rate.
Like alcohol, barbiturates are intoxicating. During the stage after mild intoxication, the user's speech may be slurred and a loss of coordination may become noticeable. Stumbling and staggering are common. Other symptoms include shallow breathing, fatigue, frequent yawning, and irritability.
When taken in high doses, barbiturates can cause serious side effects, including "unpredictable emotional reactions and mental confusion", noted the Independent. Judgment becomes severely impaired and the user may experience mood swings.
The mental effects of barbiturates generally depend on the amount of the drug taken and the strength of the dosage. Generally, a person falls asleep when taking a prescribed dosage at bedtime. But barbiturates remain in the system for a long time. "At normal doses", explained Cynthia Kuhn and her coauthors in Buzzed: The Straight Facts About the Most Used and Abused Drugs from Alcohol to Ecstasy, "the major concern is that they can have sedative effects that outlast their sleep-inducing properties. Driving, flying an airplane, or other activities requiring muscle coordination can be impaired for up to a day after a single dose." Some barbiturates can be detected in a user's urine sample days or even weeks after the drug was consumed.
DMT -UD
Chem name: Di-Methyl Triptamine
A drug that it synthesized with certain plants and natural substances found throughout the world.
The drug is most commonly produced inside the human brain stem in the first 28 days of life as a baby. After that point, It is stored in the brain and is only released upon brain/body communication stating that the body is dead. The DMT is released throughout your brain and system, numbing pain, freeing the mind and drifting your subconscious off into the land of death.
This is why some people make claims to "Having seen the light at the end of the tunnel" or having an out of body experience.
When smoked, The trip usually lasts about 15-20 seconds (much like the lesser-extreme psychadelic, Salvia) but it seems like much more. The drug seperates the wall between your subconscious and conscious mind, Essentially causing you to dream while wide awake.
Upon "waking", you feel like a million bucks, better than any cocaine or MDMA you could ever find, Essentially, You are re-born.
cocaine -UD
A naturally occuring stimulant that is one of the most popular of the hard drugs used nowadays. Highly addictive and often of questionable purity (due to it being cut w/ so many things by so many people), it is a dangerous drug. Still rather expensive dosage-wise but cheaper than it was in the 90s and much cheaper today than it was in the 80s. Usually a powder (not crack, that's another story) that comes in two forms--- Dull white granules (crappy stuff) or sparkly, off-white flakes (primo stuff).
Effects--- Alot like speed, but "cleaner" and not as long-lasting. Basically it gives a person lots of energy, makes them more alert and more sharp mentally, gives people a "euphoria" thats difficult to explain--- it's sort of a feeling of invincibility with a simultaneous feeling that all is right in the world. Some people say that it's like ecstasy but you love yourself instead of others. Cocaine also has a pleasurable numbing effect (on gums, lips, etc).
Unfortunately, the drug only lasts ~40 min at the most and the crash is very, very bad, with intense cravings, depression, and paranoia. Addiction soon after experimental use is not uncommon.
A drug that is so important that you lie to the people that you love and steal from the people that trust you in order to get high.
AYO/ Yayo /cocaine UD
89 up, 63 down
All the definitions i have checked about the word "yayo" are incorrect. "Yayo" means "grandfather" in Spain and not in spanish, only in Spain. The word for "Cocaine" is yeyo.
Tony Montana in Scarface: "chichi get da yeyo"
In Spain: Como esta tu yayo? (how's yo yayo?)
ecstasy / Xtc -UD
Ecstasy was supposedly patented in 1913 by some German chemical company to be sold as an appetite suppressant, but they decided against marketing the diet pill and had nothing to do with it. It was banned federally in 1985.
I've tried just about every drug out there and XTC is the only drug I actually enjoyed. it lasts anywhere from 3-6 hours. It gives the most intense feeling that is hard to describe; half hour after you take the pill there's a intense rush-like feeling followed by a sense of pure pleasure/bliss, it produces positive feelings, empathy for others, elimination of anxiety, and extreme relaxation. Of course it does include crappy stuff such as involuntary teeth clenching (which is why most ravers suck on those pacifiers)and give you that bug eyed look.
Becareful though if you can't handle your drugs (like me at times) I do not recommend doing E, it can make you do and say things you will be ashamed of after the high is gone, plus the comedown can be huge a bitch. Not to mention the long-term effects that can leave you at risk of developing permanent brain damage that may manifest itself in depression, anxiety, memory loss, and other neuropsychotic disorders (some of which I may actually have now)
GHB, when used as a party drug, is occasionally referred to as GBH. - WP
GHB has been used as a general anesthetic, as a hypnotic in the treatment of insomnia, to treat depression, and to improve athletic performance. In Italy, under the trade name Alcover (ATC code N07BB), GHB is used in the treatment of alcoholism (50 to 100 milligrams per kilogram per day, in 3 or more divided doses), both for acute alcohol withdrawal and medium to long term detoxification.[citation needed] [4] In the United States, the Food and Drug Administration permits the use of GHB under the trade name Xyrem to reduce the number of cataplexy attacks in patients with narcolepsy.[5]
Non-medically, GHB is a CNS depressant used as an intoxicant. It has many street names, including Liquid Ecstasy and Liquid X. At low doses, GHB can cause a state of euphoria, increased enjoyment of movement and music, increased libido, increased sociability and intoxication. At higher doses, GHB may induce nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, agitation, visual disturbances, depressed breathing, amnesia, unconsciousness and death. The effects of GHB can last from 1.5 to 3 hours, or even longer if large doses have been consumed or if it is mixed with alcohol.
crystal meth/ice -UD
A type of methanphetamine that usually comes in small plastic bags with decorations on them called 'papers'. It looks like tiny crystals and can be snorted or eaten, but is usually smoked out of a glass pipe called a rose pipe (sold at some convinient stores and comes with a rose in them) or a lightbulb with the black part where you screw the bulb in removed, and a straw in it to catch the smoke, or sometimes smoked off of tin foil with a straw to catch the smoke and a lighter underneath. Usually doesn't effect the user the first time they use, but makes them feel very happy and speeds up their thoughts, but usually not their bodies as does crank.
heroin UD
A white crystalline alkaloid prepared from morphine by acetylation, which is administered usu. in the form of its hydrochloride as a hypnotic and analgesic (though many countries prohibit this medical use), and which is illictly used as a powerful and addictive drug producing intense euphoric sensations
ketamine UD
A substance commonly used for Anaesthesia of animals and small children. Popularized by John Lilly as a psychoactive substance somewhat related to Phencycledine (PCP) in effect. In Timothy Leary's 8-circuit-model of consciousness this drug is associated with the 8th and highest circuit. Effects of a solid dose (particularly injected) include intense OOBE's (out of body experiences), Lilliputian hallucinations (feeling "as big as the universe" or "as small as an electron", often simultaneously) and other such psychedelic effects.
Firstly ketamine is not a horse tranquiliser, it is a SEDATIVE that has been used in large animals in the past, but is mainly used in hospitals on human patients with no past medical history.
Ketamine origanally comes in liquid form, when used recreatinaly and medically this can be injected.
Although when usong recreationally it is most commonly snorted.
Firstly you have to cook the k up, this can be done in a few ways, dried naturally, on the cooker, in the oven, in the microwave.
Whichever way its done the liquid needs to evaparate, leaving a crystal like substance.
When the k had cooled down this substance is then ground down into a powder.
This powder is then racked up into lines and snorted.
When you snort a line of k you have what we call a grace period, It is the time before the k takes over your body, the time that you know its coming and its gonna fuck u up, a bit like waiting to come up on a pill but more intense.
This length of this grace period depends, it can be anywhere between 10 seconds and 10 minutes. It depends on the perason taking it, their tolerance to k, the size of the line they snorted, the quality of the k.
Once the grace period is over and the k kicks in the forst felling you get is that something had been missing but now your whole again its like the k has come home, where it should be, and then you enter the k worlds.
You can pretty much keep a level of control on k unless you slip inot a hole.
A k hole is the most intense trip, you travel to different worlds, different planes, you dont just experience this universe, you experience 20 others. However you dont do it as a human because you dont realise your human, probably because you dont think to question it, any type of reality goes out the window.
A k hole is an amazing place and the prescence of k is something that nobody should be denied.
Lithium UD
A mood stabiliser medication used to treat bipolar disorder (manic - depression) used as a song title by kurt - cobain because he was bipolar.. works by changing levels of chemical glutamate... very toxic and deadly in cases of overdose.. can cause hand tremours.
Mushrooms UD
An abosolutely wonderful drug that releases your mind from reality. You realize how much life up to 18 is worthless and predetermined, and realize just how messed up and weird the world we live in really is. It isn't a drug to mix with alcohol, heat, or rollar coasters. Unless taken in high doses, it does not make you see gnomes running about in every direction. Only wavy images of things that already exist and an unparalleled body high.
**people who are depressed or have any disorders like being bipolar or anything related should not take the drug. It will cause some the worse times in your life.**
The effects last anywhere from 5 to 8 hours, depending on how much you eat. While having a bad trip, dairy products should be eaten. It helps mellow down the trip. Taking off shoes and socks and being in natural or fimilar areas away from the public also helps relieve bad tensions.
The effects of the drug is determined person-to-person. If you think you will have a bad time.. you will.. if you think you are having a bad time, you are or soon will. if you think everything is wonderful, you will be the happiest person in the world.
. Nitrous Oxide UD
21 up, 7 down
Gas with strong analgesic and weak anesthetic effects. Used in surgery and dentistry, mainly to potentiate other anesthetics. Also called "laughing gas".
1: a propellant used in whipped cream canisters. (probably safer than co2)
2: sold in "whippets" or "igi" bulbs, which are Meant to be cracked into a canister full of cream, and then released whipping the cream.
3: users of the whipped cream canister often use an empty canister, release the bulb into the canister and then inhale the gas from the canister. When inhaled often a "nang" noise is heard and a strange sensation encompases the entire body, this lasts between 10seconds and 2 minutes from one bulb. This is not Physically addictive, but it is often such a good high that users become mentally addicted.
opium UD
213 up, 20 down
Opium is a black sticky tar. The "latex" or "sap" that can be harvested from certain species of Poppy plants.
It contains over a dozen drugs.
To name a few:
-Morphine
-Codeine
-Thebaine
-Papaverine
By making a few slight scrapes around the mature seed pod, the white latex will beging to drain.
In a few hours it will have dried into a black tar. That is the unrefined opium.
This process is typically repeated several times.
In countries such as Iran, Holland, Romania, and many others, large amounts are harvested for medical purposes.
In many other cases it is used for the purpose of creating the illegal substance heroin in mass quantity.
As they say in the hills of Thailand/Burma, "Anybody who smokes more than three pipes of opium a day is an addict."
PCP UD
1694 up, 140 down
Also known as angeldust. Probably the scariest of all drugs. Was used as a horse tranquilizer. Makes the user hallucinate, become extremely violent, and not feel anything. People have been known to do horrible things to themselves while under the influence of PCP. DO NOT USE PCP. DO NOT. IT WILL RUIN YOUR LIFE.
People or lunatics more like it use this drug cuz they say it makes em feel powerful and strong as hell BUT it is extremely dangerous. I've done just about every drug out there except for crack and pcp... pcp is the only drug I'm terrified of I don't think you could pay me enough to try it after some of the stuff I've heard, it actually seems evil and almost demonicly-influenced somehow. So if you've got any sense you'll stay away from it too.

rohypnol UD
97 up, 4 down
Synonymous with date-rape, rohypnol is a 'slow-down' drug that has a similar effect to alcohol on the minds' functioning. It also delays the transmittance of messages from the brain to the muscles, thus making the user weaker. It has been used by ravers in the late 80's and early nineties, and more recently, has been used to 'spike' unattended drinks of females (or sometimes males) on a night out. It slows down the mind to the point that the person barely knows they are gettign raped until after the effects have worn off.

It is usually recommended to take Viagra 30 minutes prior to anticipated sexual activity.
zoloft UD
67 up, 9 down
one drug in the ssri (selective serotonin re-uptake inhibitor) family of antidepressents. others include paxil, effexor, prozac, luvox, etc.
ssri's have *supposedly* been linked to suicides in teens. but i'm still alive and not feeling remotely depressed. though i think that therapy is working better than zoloft.
any side effects are usually gastrointestinal (i.e., throwing up, hershey squirts, etc.). but that is rare.
the emblem of zoloft is a little emotional hard-boiled egg that hops around chasing butterflies when he's happy. my friends insist he's just a ball, but i ask you, have you ever seen an oval ball?
the lil zoloft egg was depressed before he took zoloft, but now he likes chasing butterflies.
